A route through the greenery in Málaga
Every season brings new colours, smells and sensations, especially in spring where all of them are intensified. Málaga is the ideal place to enjoy the wonders of nature with all its gardens and places that make it unique. These are our suggestions to enjoy a route through the greenery in Málaga during your stay at Palacio Solecio.
THE NIEVES MOUNTAINS
In the heart of the province of Malaga, the Sierra de las Nieves is a true paradise of contrasts, a natural paradise just a stone’s throw from the Costa del Sol, very close to the city of Malaga. Any time of the year is a good time to visit the Sierra de las Nieves, but if we had to choose one, without a doubt, it would be spring.
LAKE OF FUENTE DE PIEDRA
A unique enclave within the wetlands of the Western Mediterranean. It is home to the largest colony of flamingos in the Iberian Peninsula and the second largest in Europe. The increased evaporation of the water in spring causes the salt to crystallise on the surface, creating a unique landscape worthy of admiration.
ANTEQUERA TORCAL
Located in the centre of the province of Malaga, this is the most spectacular karst landscape in Europe. With its spectacular trails and due to the rarity of its strange formations, the Torcal de Antequera offers an impressive landscape considered unique in the world.
Spring comes to Malaga with indescribable landscapes, vivid colours and warm smells. But most importantly, spring comes with the desire to enjoy, more than ever, the feeling of freedom that nature gives us.
